Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Shift & On-Call Schedule

• Shift Breakdown: Day Shift (07:30 – 16:00)
• On-Call Requirements: 1 night of secondary call per week
• Weekend Expectations: Every 7th weekend

Unit Metrics & Environment

• Capacity & Rooms: 4 Procedure Rooms (2 GE Single Plane, 2 Philips Biplane) + 1 Invasive CT Scanner
• Staffing & Ratios: 15 IR Techs, Manager, Data/Quality Analyst, plus RN support; 1:1 Patient Ratio
• Shift Staffing Breakdown:
  • Day Shift: 2 Techs + 1 Nurse per room
  • Night Shift: 1 Tech + 1 Nurse on-site
• EMR: Cerner (RadNet)
• Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs
• Floating Area: Vascular OR (VOR)

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

• Experience: Previous Interventional Radiology and Neurointerventional Radiology experience (both scrub and circulate required); Moderate Sedation experience
• Certifications: BLS

Preferred:

• Certifications: VI (Vascular Interventional) Registered
• Experience: Vascular OR experience, Cath Lab experience
