CT Technologist Position Summary
This role involves providing specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services for inpatient and outpatient settings, covering a variety of medical specialties including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and Ear/Nose/Throat (ENT). The primary function is to serve as the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, responsible for the technical operation of radiologic x-ray equipment and processing radiographic images.
Necessary Qualifications- Education: Must have successfully completed radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the radiology field, with a focus on CT.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in operating teleradiology and fax equipment, with the capability to perform X-ray procedures.
- Licensing:
- Must possess a current valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R).
- Must hold a current ARRT Certification in Radiology, with advanced qualifications in CT Scan (RT)(CT).
- Certifications: Must maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association throughout employment.
This position requires a schedule of three 13-hour shifts each week, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 PM to 7 AM. Holiday coverage is also required.
Minimum Years of Experience- 3 years of experience required.
- BLS/BCLS certification.
- ARRT certification (R).
