Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in an outpatient setting. The role involves performing computerized tomographic (CT) radiographs according to established practices and procedures, reviewing exams for clinical appropriateness, prioritizing exams effectively, and communicating critical situations clearly. The candidate is expected to demonstrate knowledge of hospital policies and procedures and to adapt to departmental needs, including floating between departments or local locations within a 20-mile radius.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 10 hours shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: - Two (2) years current experience in computerized tomographic radiography - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT - Valid state license for Radiation Technology - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute
- Preferred Qualifications: - Epic electronic health record experience
- Additional Information: - Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required. - Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures is essential to maintain compliance and patient safety.
