Machining Maintenance Technician - Now Hiring

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Machining Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Machining Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the maintenance and reliability of CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machining Maintenance Technician

Location: Decatur, TX

Pay Range: $29hr- $42hr

Shift: 6am - 3:45pm (Must be open to overtime)

What's the Job?

• Provide advanced CNC maintenance services to support production goals.
• Handle equipment installation, relocation, upgrades, and repairs.
• Service various types and brands of CNC machines including EDM, Wire saw, laser engraving, and robot loaders.
• Self-diagnose complex machine tool problems and lead repair efforts to ensure maximum machine uptime.
• Coordinate with vendors and schedule preventive maintenance to optimize machine reliability.

What's Needed?

• At least 4+ years of experience in machine tool maintenance.
• Familiarity with rebuilds utilizing Gib and Way Scraping and Turcite installation.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of ball screws, worm gears, and transmissions.
• Electrical aptitude with understanding of safety circuits, timers, servos, HMIs, etc.
• Experience with CNC systems such as Fanuc, Mazatrol, and knowledge of PLC programming.
