Job Description
The Homecare Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring seamless communication and scheduling between clients and caregivers within a large, dynamic team. This position manages client interactions, organizes caregiver schedules, and maintains accurate records using specialized homecare management software. Frequent travel to client locations is required to support effective service delivery and coordination. The coordinator reports directly to the Operations Manager and supports operational efficiency through meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound phone communications with clients and caregivers
- Coordinate client assignments with appropriate caregivers to meet care needs
- Create and maintain detailed caregiver schedules using dedicated management software
- Prepare accurate notes and documentation for both clients and caregivers
- Track and maintain time and attendance records consistently
- Manage and produce reports related to client care and caregiver activities
- Act as a liaison to facilitate clear communication between clients, caregivers, and the team
- Travel frequently to client locations to support coordination and oversight
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in homecare coordination
- Associate degree in healthcare or related field
- Proficiency with scheduling software and homecare management tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent record keeping and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

This position includes both office and field responsibilities. Team members will support the agency’s daily operations, coordinate services, assist caregivers and clients, and conduct field visits to ensure services are running smoothly and clients’ needs are being met.
