Electrical CAD Designer - 3D modeling required

Electrical CAD Designer

FULLY REMOTE (preferably to local candidates in the Houston, TX area)

Pay Range: $30-45hr.

Skills/Qualifications:

• AutoCAD experience required (3D experience required)
• Autodesk Forma (formerly Docs) experience preferred
• Elecdes experience preferred
• Can create and modify detailed 2D and 3D electrical drawings, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics and cable and conduit schedules.
• Can develop 3D models of electrical equipment and facility layouts.
• Assists with redlines, drawing updates, and document control processes.
• Understands electrical symbols, schematics, PLCs, control systems, panel design, hazardous area, and grounding.
• Proactive communication with all disciplines
• Willingness and desire to learn
• Oil and Gas and/or Power sector project background preferred
• Duration: 6+ months (possible contract to direct hire)
• Location: open to full remote, could do hybrid if it happens to align with one of our office locations
• laptop/equipment provided for assignment
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
• 3-10 years experience range preferred
