- Day and Night Shifts Available
- Additional shifts may be available based on facility needs
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Phoenix, Arizona. The RN will provide direct patient care, assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality healthcare services.
This position is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current Fit Testing Documentation
- Current Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop nursing care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and healthcare staff
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and treatment goals
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in correctional healthcare, acute care, medical-surgical, behavioral health, or long-term care settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong teamwork and patient advocacy skills
