Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating production machinery safely and efficiently, monitoring equipment performance, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Set up machines and make basic adjustments as needed to maintain production quality and efficiency.
• Load and unload materials and components into machinery.
• Monitor production processes and identify equipment issues or product defects.
• Perform quality checks and measurements to ensure products meet specifications.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Perform basic cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Communicate machine issues, production concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards.
• Meet established production, quality, and attendance expectations.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
• Willingness to follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced manufacturing/production environment.
• May require standing for extended periods.
• May involve exposure to manufacturing equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
