About the Role:
MUS Mobile Ultrasound Services is looking for a skilled and dedicated Echo Technologist to join our dynamic mobile imaging team in New Jersey. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring high-quality cardiac diagnostic services directly to patients across the region while working in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and other cardiac ultrasound studies in mobile settings
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment to ensure optimal imaging performance
- Acquire and document accurate patient histories prior to each examination
- Analyze and optimize 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow imaging for diagnostic accuracy
- Collaborate with cardiologists and physicians to ensure timely and accurate interpretation of studies
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Travel to various facilities, clinics, and patient locations throughout New Jersey
Requirements:
- ARDMS or CCI certification in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) required
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience performing echocardiograms
- Proficiency in 2D echo, M-Mode, spectral Doppler, and color flow Doppler imaging
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for mobile assignments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and provider interaction
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a mobile environment
- BLS/CPR certification preferred
