Delivery Driver Helper

We are looking to hire "part time" helpers to assist driver with deliveries in Montebello, CA.  This is a non-driving position. Availability and tenative schedule is 10am -3pm Monday thru Friday.

Helper Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be able to safely lift/carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with use of hand truck/dolly
• Be on time and ready to work each work day
• Be able to climb stairs and get in and out of truck at least 150 times per day
• Be able to work in all types of weather
• Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude

Daily Duties include but not limited to:

• Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences.
• Walking packages from delivery vehicle into individual businesses with use of a hand truck/dolly
• Loading and unloading packages to/from vehicle for deliveries
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager
• Accurately operate scanner/effectively to track delivery process

Pay: $18/hour

We are an Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground operating out of Santa Fe Springs, CA.
