Job Description
Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys connecting with people, understanding their goals, and helping them make an important decision about their future?
As an Admissions Advisor, you will work with prospective adult students who are considering career-focused training. This is a fast-paced, results-driven enrollment position that combines consultative sales, relationship building, customer service, and consistent follow-up.
You will manage prospective students from their initial inquiry through enrollment to beginning school, helping them understand our career training programs, answering questions, overcoming concerns, and guiding them toward making an informed decision about whether our school is the right fit for their career goals.
You do not need to be a teacher or have an education background to succeed in this position. Candidates with successful sales, recruiting, call center, customer service, or other goal-driven customer-facing experience are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do:
- Connect with prospective students through outbound and inbound phone calls, SMS, and email
- Build relationships with prospective students and learn about their career goals, needs, and motivations
- Conduct admissions interviews and information sessions
- Present the features, benefits, and value of our career-focused training programs
- Address questions and overcome objections throughout the decision-making process
- Maintain consistent and timely follow-up with prospective students
- Guide qualified prospective students through the application and enrollment process
- Schedule appointments and encourage prospective students to take the next step toward enrollment
- Manage prospective student leads and activities using our CRM system
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all prospect interactions
- Work collaboratively with campus departments to provide a positive prospective student experience
- Meet established activity, appointment, enrollment, and performance goals
- Understand your key performance metrics and use them to continuously improve results
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for someone who is
- Sales-minded, competitive, and motivated by achieving goals
- Comfortable making a high volume of phone calls and conducting consistent follow-up
- Confident discussing options, handling objections, and asking prospects to take the next step
- Skilled at building rapport and trust quickly
- An effective communicator by phone, text, email, and in person
- Organized and comfortable managing multiple prospects at different stages of the enrollment process
- Comfortable working with CRM technology and maintaining accurate records
- Motivated by both helping people and achieving measurable results
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Experience That Can Translate Well to This Role:
Previous admissions experience is not required. We welcome candidates with experience in areas such as:
- Inside or outside sales
- Automotive sales
- Wireless/mobile phone sales
- Recruiting or staffing
- Call center sales
- Insurance sales
- Fitness or membership sales
- Hospitality or customer service
- Retail sales
- Other consultative or relationship-based sales positions
If you know how to connect with people, uncover their needs, communicate value, follow up consistently, overcome objections, and ask for the commitment, we can teach you the admissions process.
Why This Role Matters:
Choosing career training can be a major decision for an adult learner. Our Admissions Advisors help prospective students understand their options and determine whether our programs align with their career goals.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to use their sales and relationship-building skills in a career where the outcome can make a meaningful difference in someone's future.
