Test Engineer (UI & API Automation) - Secret Cleared

Global TechPro is seeking a Secret-cleared Test Engineer with strong hands‐on automation experience in Selenium and solid API testing skills. This role requires the ability to write automation code, analyze requirements, and support quality across agile teams.

*Must hold an active Secret clearance or above*

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases based on requirements and technical specs
• Build and maintain UI automation scripts using Selenium (hand‐coded)
• Build and maintain API tests (SoapUI, Postman, or similar)
• Select manual vs. automated approaches based on risk and complexity
• Report and track defects; provide clear test documentation
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to testing standards and best practices across scrum teams

Required Skills

• Hands‐on experience writing Selenium automation scripts
• Proficiency in C# or a comparable programming language
• Experience with automation frameworks (page object model, reusable components)
• API testing experience (SoapUI/Postman)
• Strong understanding of testing fundamentals and defect lifecycle
• Experience with CI/CD automation execution

• Git/version control experience
• Agile/scrum team collaboration
