Facilities Maintenance Technician - AM - Mon -Fri - San Marcos, TX

We are looking for a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to handle general building, grounds, and equipment maintenance. This is a hands-on position for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and keep the facility safe and well maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility repairs.
• Handle basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Maintain lawns, landscaping, parking areas, and exterior spaces.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to maintenance requests.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other equipment safely.
• Identify larger repairs and coordinate with outside contractors when needed.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous facilities, building, or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
