Industrial Painter - Airless Spray / Coating

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Painter to join our team, specializing in indoor facilities. In this role, you will prepare surfaces and apply high-performance protective coatings to large-scale structures such as tanks and trailers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with airless spray equipment and can deliver precise, high-quality finishes while working collaboratively in small teams under tight production schedules. (Potential overtime)

This position begins as a 90-day probationary contract role through our hiring partnership. At the 90-day mark, team members are evaluated for direct-hire full-time placement based on four key metrics:

Responsibilities

• Prepare industrial surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking
• Apply epoxy, urethane, and other protective coatings using airless spray systems
• Operate and maintain heavy-duty spray equipment ensuring optimal performance
• Conduct quality control inspections to meet engineering and safety standards
• Ensure strict compliance with job site safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and work areas
• Set up job sites including scaffolding and materials in coordination with team members

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as an industrial spray painter using air or airless spray systems
• Proven ability to read and follow technical data sheets (TDS) and safety data sheets (SDS)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and operate in confined or temperature-variable spaces
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with epoxy and urethane coatings
• Skilled in airless spray-painting techniques
• Proficient in using personal protective equipment
• Strong time management skills and physical endurance
• Reliability strong work ethics, attention to details and a solid record of punctuality
