Assistant General Manager

The Assistant General Manager assists the General Manager with all aspects of restaurant operations. This position plays a key role in leading the team, maintaining operational standards, developing employees, and helping the restaurant achieve strong business results.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts while maintaining standards for product quality, service, cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety
• Develop and train crew members and hourly management
• Ensure all safety and security procedures are followed
• Demonstrate and reinforce strong leadership and people-management practices
• Recruit, staff, schedule, and retain employees
• Exercise appropriate authority regarding hiring, discipline, and termination when necessary
• Build sales and control expenses to achieve business goals
• Promote a respectful and positive workplace
• Complete assigned operational and management responsibilities
• Lead by example through professional appearance, attitude, and dependability
• Communicate effectively with employees and management

• Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred
