Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury

Well established, mid-size Law Firm, seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to work in Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation.

This person will have heavy and extensive experience in Litigation, and be able to handle a case load of 20-30 cases that are in progress.

Requirements:

·          Minimum of 5 years plus of Litigation experience as a Paralegal

·          Able to draft Pleadings for review by Attorney(s)

·          Excellent Research and Writing skills

·          Knowledge of the Local Rules and Civil Procedures

·          In depth experience with the Discovery process

·          Great communication skills and able to communicate with clients, opposing counsel and court

personnel.

·          Have a friendly and compassionate demeanor

Job Description:

· Drafting and editing correspondence and pleadings

· Monitoring Calendar deadlines and SOL’s

· Working closely with the Attorneys

· Able to work independently and as a team

· Case Management

· Preparing for Depositions, Mediations, Arbitrations and Trials

· Preparing Exhibit Binders

· E-filing
