Laboratory Packaging Technician (Temp)

• LOCATION: East Hanover
• PAY RATE: $20/hr
• SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday; 12pm-8pm

As a Laboratory Packaging Technician, you play a vital role in ensuring accurate measurements and quality production. Your responsibilities include expertly mixing, loading, and labeling materials while strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and Personal Safety Policies. Duties:

• Package pastes and liquids into syringes and cartridges; accurately label such containers.
• Package syringes and cartridges into boxes; accurately label such boxes.
• Read, understand, and adhere to documented instructions.
• Accurately document necessary job records.
• Ensure that work areas, tools, equipment, packaging, and labeling components are maintained in good working order.
• Wear PPE as needed and adhere to safe chemical handling and disposal procedures as documented in SOP’s and SDS’s.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to increase quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with handling chemical substances and mixtures.
• Proficient with productivity software such as MS Word and Excel.
