Inventory Clerk
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday - 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Duration of the Contract: 3 to 4 Months
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support our maintenance operations team. This position is responsible for conducting cycle counts of parts inventory, stocking and organizing parts, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with various tasks as assigned by Maintenance Management. The ideal candidate is organized, computer literate, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of parts inventory.
• Stock, organize, and maintain inventory in designated storage locations.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with receiving, handling, and storing inventory items.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by Maintenance Management.
Required Qualifications Education
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Skills & Abilities
• Computer literate with the ability to learn inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform physical cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.
• Ability to perform physical inventory counts in warehouse and stockroom environments
