Machine Operator

We are looking for a Machine Operator for a local client located in Danbury, CT.

We welcome candidates with a couple of years of experience and are willing to provide training for the right individual.  The Machine Operator is responsible for adding trays in a machine for cutting to ensure efficient production of high-quality products.  

The position reports to the Manufacturing supervisor and is a 1st shift position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.      To properly operate machine and any support equipment to produce quality product in a timely fashion.

2.      Familiar with materials and tooling related to assigned work.

3.      Work with Quality Control to maximize quality.

4.      Make process adjustments.

5.      Keep the machine and related equipment operating properly and clean including tooling, surrounding area.

6.      Operate safely at all times

7.      Familiar with tooling for various work orders

8.       Completion of paperwork related to a specific work order.

Knowledge and Skills:

       Light lifting required.

       Use of hand gages for measurement.
