Job Description

Job Description

Exact Medical Manufacturing manufactures and distributes disposable medical products used in operating rooms. We are hiring a Product Specialist to help turn customer questions and product requests into accurate answers, clear requirements, and completed work.

This role combines product learning, customer communication, technical problem-solving, and project coordination. You will work with Sales, Operations, Quality, and Manufacturing to understand requests, gather information, and move projects forward.

We will teach you our products, applications, and internal processes. You must bring curiosity, sound judgment, clear communication, and reliable execution.

What you will do

  • Learn how our products work, how customers use them, and which features and specifications matter.
  • Review customer requests, product specifications, samples, and supporting documents.
  • Ask questions that clarify requirements, intended use, quantities, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate information needed for product recommendations, quotes, samples, and changes.
  • Track requests and projects, follow up with the people involved, and communicate progress.
  • Help prepare product information, presentations, and customer explanations.
  • Identify missing information or concerns before commitments are made.
  • Participate in domestic and international travel as required.

What we expect

You can approach an unfamiliar problem methodically: establish the facts, identify what is missing, find the right resources, and propose a next step.

You are comfortable telling a customer what is known and what still needs verification. You document commitments, communicate delays early, and stay involved until the issue is resolved.

Qualifications

  • Basic Excel proficiency and comfort working with Word, presentations, and new software.
  • Ability to read detailed information, compare specifications, and identify inconsistencies.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining information in plain language.
  • Strong organization and follow-through across multiple requests.
  • Willingness to ask questions, accept feedback, and demonstrate improvement.
  • Interest in learning technical products and understanding customer needs.

Experience in product support, customer service, manufacturing, technical sales support, or project coordination is helpful. An engineering degree or previous medical-device experience is not required. Relevant examples may come from employment, education, or substantial projects.

Compensation and benefits

$60,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience; performance-based bonus opportunities; health, dental, vision, and life insurance; paid time off; and a 401(k) with company matching up to 3%.

How to apply

Submit your résumé. No cover letter is required.

Our interview process includes a practical exercise using supplied product information. We will evaluate how you interpret information, identify missing details, communicate, and apply feedback.
