Commercial Cleaner

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to help maintain a
clean, safe, and healthy environment within school facilities. This role
involves cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas
after school hours to ensure students and staff return to a spotless facility
each day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling receptables and replace liners as needed.
• Restock restroom and facility supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and identify maintenance concerns.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidlines when handling chemicals and equipment.
• Secure designated areas by turning off lights and locking doors at the end of the shift as required.
  

Qualifications:

• Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodial experience
  preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent work pace.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. for extended
  periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal
  supervision.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 PM - 12:00 AM)

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
