Warehouse Order Picker

The Warehouse Order Picker plays a vital role in efficiently managing general goods in a dynamic warehouse environment. Utilizing manual picking methods along with equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts, this position ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper inventory handling, and adherence to safety standards throughout an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick orders according to specifications and schedules
• Handle inventory with care to maintain product integrity
• Pack items securely for shipment
• Load and unload goods using manual and powered equipment
• Replenish stock to maintain inventory levels
• Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and order activities

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations
• Forklift Operator Certification
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Proficiency in RF scanner operation
• Knowledge of material handling equipment
• Strong understanding of safety procedures
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Physical stamina for prolonged periods of activity
• Teamwork and effective communication skills
• Good time management abilities
