Laundry Worker

Condustrial, Inc. is now seeking a dedicated Linen Finisher to join our dynamic laundry and linen services team in Columbia, SC.

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of linens used across various hospitality and healthcare facilities. Your expertise will ensure that high-quality linens are properly prepared for final distribution.

Duties:

• Operate laundry equipment (industrial steam irons, pressing machines, and steam tunnels) to remove wrinkles, restore shape to linens, and give the garments a polished look
• Inspect linens for damages or stains; sort out items requiring special handling such as dry cleaning or repair.
• Assist in the preparation of linens for delivery by folding, packaging, and labeling with accuracy.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, including the proper use of chemicals and protective equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals efficiently while ensuring quality standards.
• Support additional tasks related to linen maintenance as needed to uphold cleanliness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in laundry operations or linen processing within a hotel, healthcare facility, or similar environment is highly preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting in high temperatures
• Familiarity with safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to smooth wrinkles and restore the fabrics to pristine condition
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical stamina for standing long periods, lifting heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks.

Pay: $13

Shift: M-Th 6a-3p, Fri 6a-11p
