About the Role:
MUS Mobile Ultrasound Services is looking for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team serving the New Jersey area. This is a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging directly to patients and facilities in a wonderful working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations at office in New Jersey
- Operate and maintain portable ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal imaging quality
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety
- Capture and document high-quality sonographic images for physician interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with HIPAA
- Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
Requirements:
- ARDMS certification (RVT, RDMS, or equivalent) required
- Valid NJ state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in diagnostic medical sonography, including abdominal, vascular, or OB/GYN imaging
- Strong patient communication and bedside manner skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
