As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our team.

Position Summary

The Litigation Attorney will manage a plaintiff personal injury caseload from assignment through resolution. The ideal candidate has strong litigation experience, excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, and is comfortable handling all phases of personal injury litigation, including trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from assignment through settlement or trial.
• Evaluate cases and develop legal strategies to maximize client outcomes.
• Conduct legal research and analyze liability, damages, medical records, and applicable law.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients at depositions, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress and legal strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and case managers to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and firm policies.
• Stay current on developments in Florida personal injury law and litigation practices.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• English and Spanish fluency is preferred.
