After training: Transition to swing shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30pm –11:00pm

About the job

The Electrical Test Operator sets up and operates test equipment to ensure products meet

electrical specifications and quality standards.


We're looking for someone who

● Has a high school diploma or equivalent work experience

● Has 2+ years of electrical testing experience in the printed circuit board industry

● Has knowledge of electrical testing, including ohm values, continuity, isolation, and impedance

● Is familiar with IPC 9252

● Can read, write, speak, and understand English

● Has basic computer skills

● Can use a microscope

● Can read and understand blueprints and specifications

● Pays close attention to detail and performs work accurately

● Can follow directions and work effectively as part of a team


What you'll do

● Set up and operate jobs on electrical test machines

● Test products to ensure they meet electrical specifications and quality standards

● Perform electrical testing related to ohm values, continuity, isolation, and impedance

● Review blueprints, specifications, and testing requirements

● Use microscopes and computer systems as needed during testing

● Follow established testing procedures and instructions

● Identify and communicate testing issues or results that do not meet specifications

● Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the testing process

● Work collaboratively with the Quality Control team and other departments as needed


Physical requirements

● Must be able to sit, stand, and move around the work area for extended periods

● Must be able to use hands and fingers for detailed testing and equipment operation

● Must be able to use a microscope for extended periods

● Must be able to maintain close visual attention to small components and details

● Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy

● Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing and testing environment
