Strap Line Helper

• Strap line helper must be aware of all Safety hazards, policies, guidelines, and procedures associated with the strap line helper position prior to training.
• Strap line helper in the manufacturing of steel strapping assists in the removal of coils from a rewinder reel using coil carriers, and transports coils from the rewinders to a conveyor system.
• Visually inspects coils during the process for obvious defects or markings, not consistent with our quality objectives.
• Transfer spools containing slit steel strapping to welding position.
• Spot weld individual straps at appropriate time interval.
• Assist in correcting production delays and product size changeovers
