LIVE IN CAREGIVER

Paramount Home Health Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Live-In Caregiver in the Sarasota area to provide care and support for an autistic adult female. This position requires a commitment to a 7-day live-in schedule, with approximately 12 hours of caregiving support each day. The caregiver will have personal time off on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM to attend to personal matters. The caregiver must have a reliable personal vehicle to assist with transportation and community activities as needed.

The caregiver will provide assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, supervision, companionship, daily routines, and community activities while maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment. We prefer someone with previous experience working with individuals with special needs or autism, particularly someone who is comfortable and knowledgeable in responding to behavioral escalations using patience, appropriate redirection, de-escalation techniques, and a calm approach.

Compensation is $3,500 per month, paid bi-weekly. There is no rent or housing charge, and the caregiver will have a private room in the home. The ideal candidate should be reliable, patient, responsible, comfortable with a live-in arrangement, and able to provide consistent, respectful care while supporting the individual's needs and routines.
