Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant machinery (cranes, compressors, machine tools, paint units) and office facilities.
• Preventative Maintenance & Inspection: Inspect equipment regularly to diagnose malfunctions, track wear, and perform PMs, including basic PLC tasks.
• Installation & Fabrication: Install, level, and align equipment and accessories; perform basic welding, brazing, pipefitting, plumbing, carpentry, and simple machining (drill press, grinder).
• Technical Support: Work from schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals; assist senior technicians on complex builds or repairs; collaborate with outside vendors on major electrical work.
• Compliance & Administration: Maintain work logs, adhere to safety and ISO 9001/14001 standards, meet departmental budget goals, keep work areas clean, and provide own hand tools.

Job Requirements

• Education: 2-year technical/trade school degree in maintenance, electronics, or metalworking preferred.
• Experience: 4+ years as a Maintenance Technician or Mechanic.
• Skills: In-depth mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, strong general facility maintenance knowledge, and the ability to diagnose and repair complex machine failures.
