Electrical Technician

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN - AUBURN HILLS, MI

• 1st & 2nd shift opportunities available
• Longterm contract with potential for direct hire

1. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Solid communication skills in technical and non-technical issues (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of mechanical assemblies and electrical assemblies
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical, mechanical, pneumatic engineering documentation, prints and/or schematics
• Proficient with electrical and mechanical hand tools
• Experience with safety procedures (MIOSHA regulations, Safety, Fork Truck, Lockout, Hazardous Material)
• Maintains a disciplined approach to responsibilities without supervision.
• Technical communication skills

2. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• Electrical Repair Technician, Quality Technician, Automotive Technician, Panel Technician, Maintenance Technicians and Electrical Apprentice
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certifications: Basic technical trainings with electrical focus
• 1-5 years’ experience in manufacturing electrical assembly and test
• Experienced and knowledgeable on ISO 9001 requirements (preferred)
