Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Salinas Valley Health Medical Center in Salinas, California.
COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $95,000.00 to $115,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

- Monitor and drive day-to-day administrative and operational activities supporting food service operations.
- Manage payroll for a workforce of 100+ employees using company software systems, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Oversee workforce scheduling, labor tracking, and related reporting to support operational needs.
- Manage invoice processing, cash handling, account reconciliation activities, and other business office functions.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports.
- Manage quality improvement initiatives for areas of responsibility and ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and client standards.
- Support staffing processes, employee training coordination, and resource planning activities.
- Lead document management activities to ensure policies and procedures are followed and practices comply with applicable regulations and labor agreements.
- Collaborate with leadership to monitor budgets, control labor costs, and support financial performance objectives.
- Maintain compliance with company, client, healthcare, and union requirements.

- At least 3-5 years of experience in food service, hospitality, healthcare support services, or a similar operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing payroll administration, workforce scheduling, labor reporting, and financial reporting.
- Strong accounting and financial administration background, including invoice processing, payroll reconciliation, and cash handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word required.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to solve complex operational issues and make sound business decisions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to build relationships, influence others, and drive results without direct supervisory authority.
- Experience working in a unionized environment strongly preferred.
- Food service operations experience required; healthcare food service experience preferred.
- Experience using payroll systems and business operations software is required.
