Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 2-2-3 Schedule
Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial electrical systems and equipment to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot PLCs using basic and ladder logic.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Install wiring, conduit, power supplies, and electrical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders using maintenance software.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Update electrical schematics and equipment documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and train junior electricians.
- Follow all safety, quality, and GMP standards.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience or equivalent trade school/apprenticeship training.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, instrumentation, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficient with multimeters, hand tools, and power tools.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and work order systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Associate Degree in Electronics Technology or electrical trade training preferred.
- Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
