Electrical Wiring Apprentice

We seeking a motivated Electrical Wiring Technician / Electrical Apprentice to join our manufacturing team in Garland, TX. This position is responsible for wiring, assembling, and installing electrical components in switchgear, switchboards, control panels, and power distribution equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with electrical assembly experience or individuals looking to grow their career through hands-on electrical apprentice-type training in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Route, terminate, label, and connect electrical wiring and cables according to specifications.
• Install electrical components including breakers, relays, transformers, control devices, and terminal blocks.
• Assist with panel wiring, electrical assembly, and equipment builds under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and wire management while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and assist with electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and support production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical wiring, electrical assembly, panel building, or an electrical apprentice role preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, crimpers, and measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn electrical manufacturing processes.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
