Position Overview

XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is seeking an experienced Accounting & Payroll Specialist to join a growing team. This position will be responsible for supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costing, payroll processing, and maintaining accurate employee and financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks experience and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders (POs) for Accounts Payable daily for sales and Project Managers.
• Match incoming invoices to Accounts Payable POs and obtain approval from the Project Manager for payment.
• Ensure POs and invoices are correctly job costed.
• Maintain employee payroll records in both QuickBooks systems, including QuickBooks Payroll and QuickBooks Time.
• Process biweekly payroll using records from QuickBooks Time synced with QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.
• Ensure project and job numbers are loaded correctly in QuickBooks Time daily for accurate job costing.
• Assist with managing Accounts Receivable aging and collections with support from other resources.
• Apply Accounts Receivable payments to invoices.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting and payroll records.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with QuickBooks Desktop.
• 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Accounts Receivable.
• 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Payroll.
• 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Time.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting and payroll tasks in a timely manner.
