Job Summary

HadHat Workforce Solutions is seeking skilled and dependable Commercial Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial construction and facility environments.

This position is ideal for an electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety procedures, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical systems.
  • Install conduit, wiring, cable trays, electrical panels, breakers, switches, receptacles, and lighting systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Perform electrical testing and troubleshoot circuits and equipment.
  • Install and connect electrical equipment in accordance with project specifications.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential electrical problems.
  • Ensure all electrical work meets applicable NEC, local code, and safety requirements.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Work closely with project managers, supervisors, general contractors, and other trades.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Complete required documentation and report project issues or material needs.
  • Follow all company, OSHA, and job-site safety requirements.
  • Assist apprentices and less-experienced electricians when needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous commercial electrical experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical codes.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work safely with electrical tools and equipment.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites as scheduled.
  • Ability to work in various commercial construction environments.
  • Ability to lift materials, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in confined or elevated areas.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Electrical license, certification, or apprenticeship completion preferred, depending on position and applicable state/local requirements.
