Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position available in the Bangor, Maine area. This role involves providing imaging services in a Level II Trauma Center, supporting a variety of patient care areas including outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, ICU, MedSurg, and operating room. The assignment requires operating fluoroscopy, C-Arms, and other imaging equipment, with a focus on adult, geriatric, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The candidate will work in a dynamic environment with a rotating shift schedule.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week on a 4-week schedule; specifics will be provided during the interview process.
  • Required Qualifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R), Maine State licensure, BLS certification, and 1 year of experience operating OR/C-arm imaging equipment and supporting diverse patient types.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fluoroscopy, C-Arms, and trauma imaging in an acute care setting.
  • Support within Department: Lead technician and department administration support, internal transport, radiologist on-site.
  • Technology/Equipment: Cerner electronic medical record system, PACS Enterprise Imaging AGFA, Siemens Ysio and Multix Fusion imaging devices, Siemens Artis Zee fluoroscopy unit, operating room imaging units including OEC, Siemens, and Ziehm C-Arms, Shimadzu DR portables.
  • Orientation: 1 to 1.5 weeks, based on experience and comfort level.
  • Additional Information: The assignment begins immediately, with shift hours varying based on departmental needs. Parking is free for staff, and scrubs are acceptable in any solid color or provided by the facility.
