Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician (IR Tech) position available in a facility located in Leesburg. The role involves supporting interventional radiology procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, including neuro, vascular, and visceral studies. The assignment lasts approximately 13 weeks, with scheduled hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 10 hours per day.

- Shift: 10-hour days, 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Start Date: 10/05/2026
- End Date: 01/09/2027
- Travel Required: Yes
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Required Qualifications:
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification required
- Florida license required
- 2 years of experience in interventional radiology procedures
- Experience with neuro and vascular interventional radiology procedures
- Ability to scrub and circulate for cases
- Knowledge of sterile procedures and a broad understanding of interventional studies, including neuro, vascular, and visceral work
- Experience with interventional radiology equipment, including Canon, Philips, and Siemens systems
- Demonstrated ability to work with interventional radiology equipment and supplies
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Vascular Intervention (VI) certification preferred
- Additional Information:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of IR experience
- Must be able to take call at least one week every three weeks, with full training provided prior to call responsibilities
- Interviews will be conducted by the unit manager
- Processing by the Florida Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Interventionalists (FL ACHA) may take up to 14 business days from receipt
