Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of Long Term Care experience for a long term care facility.

- Long term care facility setting within the Speech Therapy unit
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience in a Long Term Care setting
- Valid Texas state license required if applicable
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans for swallowing, cognitive, and communication disorders
Additional Information
- Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and reduce aspiration risk
- Implement communication strategies to help residents better express themselves and understand others
- Lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure compliance with established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate resident care
- Candidates employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
