Job Summary:
Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT) for a healthcare organization in a clinical setting. This role involves evaluating, planning, and administering physical therapy treatments to patients within an inpatient facility. The position requires demonstrating clinical competence and providing patient-centered, age-appropriate care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shifts, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of Physical Therapy or equivalent; current Physical Therapy license within the State of practice; BLS certification; ability to become proficient with computer software applications used in an automated patient care environment, evaluation tools, and therapeutic modalities; physical ability to perform job duties including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds; possess visual and auditory acuity and fine motor skills; and prior clinical experience in inpatient physical therapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: This role involves providing skilled physical therapy in a hospital-based environment, assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with interprofessional teams to ensure effective care delivery. Flexibility and adaptability to changing caseloads and operational needs are essential.
