Key Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed occupational therapy programs to help patients improve quality of life following injury, disease, or loss of a body part
• Provide outpatient hand therapy services with the ability to float to an acute care setting as needed
• Apply clinical judgment while maintaining an empathetic and understanding attitude toward each patient
• Account for patient gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs when delivering care
• Adhere to Modality Endorsement requirements per Montana state guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional occupational therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
• Active Montana state OT license required
• Modality Endorsement per Montana state guidelines required
• Amiable personality with the ability to make sound clinical judgments
• Must live at least 250 miles from the facility to be eligible (in-state travelers within 250 miles will not be considered unless the radius requirement is met)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in outpatient hand therapy
• Experience floating between outpatient and acute care settings
• Familiarity with Montana state practice guidelines and modality endorsement standards
