Contract | Days (7:00–19:00) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 13 or 26-Week Contract Options | 36 or 48-Hour Weekly Options Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including specialty areas such as Neuroscience, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, Ortho, Transplant, and Progressive Care
• Administer and manage IV drips; drip competency is required on all floors
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float frequently within scope to meet facility staffing needs, including potential assignment to a sister campus approximately 16 minutes away
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including CNAs, care techs, transport, and paramedics/swoop staff
• Fulfill weekend and holiday shift requirements as outlined by unit scheduling policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska license required; pending license accepted, though confirmed start date will be adjusted accordingly)
• BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting required
• Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center preferred for first-time travelers to be considered
• Proficiency with EPIC charting required
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in specialty areas such as Oncology, Neuroscience, Trauma, Cardiac, or Solid Organ Transplant
• ACLS certification
• Familiarity with high-acuity, complex patient populations in a teaching hospital environment
