Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Facility: Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Northern Light.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience OR/C-arm experience required. Experience with adult/geriatric patients and some pediatric/neonatal patients required. 1 year experience accepted depending on type of experience.

Special Requests Housing in Maine becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying. Only 1 active application is allowed for the same position on the same unit and shift at the same facility. You may apply to both day and night shift openings at the same unit and facility, but not to another opening for the same shift on that unit and facility. Travel pairs: if you are in a relationship, scheduling on the same days is not guaranteed. If you are not in a relationship, you may be scheduled on the same days if not on the same shift or unit. Managers will not guarantee the same schedule for travel pairs. RTO requires manager approval.

Unit Details Works across outpatient and inpatient imaging, including ED, ICU, Med/Surg, and OR. Primarily adult/geriatric patients, with some pediatric/neonatal patients. Performs general X-ray, fluoroscopy, OR C-arm, ortho and ortho trauma, and portable inpatient imaging. Uses Enterprise Imaging AGFA PACS; Siemens Ysio, Siemens Multix Fusion, Siemens Artis Zee, OEC, Siemens and Ziehm C-Arms, and Shimadzu DR portables.

Shift & Scheduling Weekend rotation varies based on need. No call required. Holiday expectations are done in rotation with other techs. 4-week schedules are provided to the best of the department’s ability. Specific shift will vary based on need.

Floating Requirements May float to a fixed location other than OR or to portables for inpatient scans.

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months
