AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Pahokee, Florida, 33476!

Ready to take your COTA career on the road? We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a supportive Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) rehabilitation team on an exciting 13-week travel assignment.

This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while gaining valuable experience, exploring new locations, and working alongside an experienced therapy team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Assist patients in improving daily living skills, mobility, strength, and independence
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities
  • Utilize adaptive equipment and techniques to support patient function
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT
  • Accurately document treatments and patient progress in accordance with SNF guidelines
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support positive patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Active COTA certification and state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • SNF experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace new environments
