Sanitation Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-minded Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize production equipment and processing areas in a manufacturing facility. This role focuses on deep cleaning machinery, production lines, and plant areas to maintain sanitary and safe operating conditions.

Industrial sanitation, manufacturing, or machine operation experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete sanitation duties according to the Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Deep clean and sanitize dry and wet mix equipment and production lines.
• Foam, scrub, and sanitize equipment when not in use.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning after training.
• Clean floors, racks, pipes, conveyors, towers, and overhead fixtures.
• Perform cooler, freezer, and silo room cleaning as assigned.
• Conduct ATP testing to verify sanitation effectiveness.
• Maintain sanitation tools, equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
• Follow all company, plant safety, GMP, and sanitation procedures.
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Perform authorized lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures after training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Industrial sanitation, manufacturing, or machine operation experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of GMPs, IFS, HACCP, and plant safety preferred
• LOTO experience or willingness to become trained
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Comfortable working at heights
• Able to perform physically demanding work in an industrial environment
• Reliable team player with a strong focus on safety and cleanliness

Schedule & Pay

Day Shift: $22/hr
Thursday–Sunday or Sunday–Wednesday
5:30 AM–6:00 PM
