Warehouse Assistant / Inventory Specialist

About the Position

We are a growing low-voltage technology company specializing in audio/video, home automation, networking, and security systems. We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant / Inventory Specialist to assist our Purchaser with keeping our warehouse organized, inventory accurate, and our field technicians equipped and ready for their jobs.

This position will mostly support our Purchaser with receiving, organizing, tracking, and managing equipment and materials.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of a large warehouse and tech office
• Pull and stage equipment for installation and service jobs
• Deliver and pick up equipment and materials from jobsites as needed
• Assist our Purchaser with receiving, tracking, and organizing equipment
• Manage and maintain our eBay listings
• Assist with RMA's and equipment returned from jobsites
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to work independently and stay organized
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

A Plus, But Not Required

• Warehouse or inventory experience
• Knowledge of the low-voltage industry
• Familiarity with Control4, Crestron, Sonance, or similar products
• Experience with AV, networking, security, home automation, or electronics
• Experience with eBay or online product listings

The Right Fit

We're looking for someone who likes to stay busy, takes pride in being organized, and pays attention to the details. You don't need to be an expert in low-voltage technology—we can teach you. Being dependable, computer-savvy, and willing to learn is more important.

This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse work, inventory management, computer work, and running equipment to and from jobsites.
