Family Law Paralegal


LOCATION: Arlington, Texas | Onsite


COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • $65,000+ annually (Based on Experience)

  • Direct Hire

  • Monday-Friday

  • 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 8:30 AM-5:30 PM

  • No weekends

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required: At least 3 years of recent Family Law Paralegal experience supporting family law attorneys. Candidates without family law experience cannot be considered.

  • Proven ability to independently draft a wide range of family law documents with minimal supervision while managing a busy caseload and meeting productivity expectations.

  • Strong communication, organization, time management, and client relationship skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.


ROLE IMPACT

Are you an experienced Family Law Paralegal looking for a firm where your experience is valued from day one? Join a collaborative legal team supporting clients through divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and other family law matters. In this role, you'll primarily support one Family Law Attorney while assisting additional attorneys as needed, managing an active caseload in a fast-paced practice where organization, communication, and exceptional drafting skills are key to success.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft petitions, motions, pleadings, discovery, divorce decrees, custody modifications, child support documents, adoption paperwork, mediation materials, and other family law filings.

  • Manage approximately 60 active family law cases while tracking deadlines, hearings, attorney calendars, mediations, depositions, and court requirements.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients by providing updates, answering questions, collecting payments, and delivering outstanding customer service throughout each case.

  • Prepare and review discovery responses, interrogatories, requests for production, disclosure statements, and supporting documentation.

  • Maintain organized case files and work closely with attorneys and staff to ensure cases progress efficiently from intake through resolution.


CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

  • Needles Case Management Software (preferred)

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Legal calendaring and document management systems


PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience handling divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, mediation, enforcement actions, and other Texas family law matters.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional with a passion for providing exceptional client service.
