Facilities Maintenance Technician

Facilities Maintenance Technician – $28/hr | Day Shift

Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:30 PM | $28.00/hour

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility systems and manufacturing equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility and manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler, and steam systems
• Complete general building maintenance and repairs
• Perform pipe threading and bending
• Perform basic welding and insulation work
• Assist with painting, plastering, light construction, and facility upkeep
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Work around PLC-controlled machinery
• Identify equipment or facility issues and take appropriate corrective action
• Complete additional maintenance projects as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous facilities, industrial, manufacturing, or building maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, or similar trades is highly preferred
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a maintenance team
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to workplace and equipment safety

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in different areas of the facility
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment with varying noise levels
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• May work in areas where chemical materials are present
