Packaging Equipment Operator / Mechanic (Filling, Labeling, BOV, Tube)

Technical Machine Operator / Mechanic position entails:

Responsibilities

• Operation, monitoring, and maintenance of technical filling systems including bag-on-valve, aerosol, and tube filling lines.
• Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines for different production runs based on technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions, making minor repairs and performing preventive maintenance.
• Collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure proper work flow and meet production goals.
• Follow strict safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain accurate records of production statistics and maintenance activities.
• Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting is often preferred, though not always required, as on-the-job training is common.
• Technical Skills:
• • Ability to read and understand technical documents.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment like pumps, motors, electronics, pneumatics, and valves is a plus.
• Physical Requirements:
• • Ability to lift heavy items (often 40+ pounds) and stand for extended periods.
  • Specific vision abilities (close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception) are necessary due to the precision-oriented nature of the work.

• • A base compensation range has been provided. Compensation is based upon experience and value.
