LEAD CNC PROGRAMMER / MACHINIST – MASTERCAM

Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing | Clearwater, FL
Full-Time | 6% 401(k) Company Match | Paid Time Off
Mastercam | CNC Milling & Turning | Okuma LB3000 EX II | Haas

Integrity Industries is seeking an experienced Lead CNC Programmer / Machinist to take technical ownership of our CNC machining operations supporting aerospace and defense customers.

This is a hands-on programming and machining position — not a desk-only role. You will take complex precision parts from drawing and solid model through Mastercam programming, setup, prove-out, first article, inspection, and production.

We are looking for the person other machinists turn to when they have a difficult setup, programming problem, tooling issue, or challenging part.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK WITH
• Mastercam
• Okuma LB3000 EX II CNC turning center with live tooling and Y-axis
• Haas VF-4SS CNC vertical machining center
• Haas VF-2SS CNC vertical machining center
• Solid models and complex aerospace/defense components
• Precision inspection equipment
• Tight-tolerance, low-to-medium volume production

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Develop and optimize CNC milling and turning programs using Mastercam
• Program, set up, prove out, troubleshoot, and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Take new parts from print/model through finished production
• Develop machining strategies, operation sequences, tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds
• Program and troubleshoot Okuma CNC lathes
• Set up and operate Haas CNC mills
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspection
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, workholding, dimensional, and process problems
• Improve cycle times, tool life, machine utilization, and process reliability
• Develop repeatable processes for new aerospace and defense components
• Create and maintain setup documentation, tooling information, and CNC program revisions
• Assist with estimating machining time, setup requirements, tooling, and manufacturing complexity for new work
• Train and mentor CNC machinists and operators
• Establish machining, programming, setup, and tooling best practices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience
• Strong Mastercam programming experience
• Experience programming and setting up both CNC mills and CNC lathes
• Hands-on Okuma CNC lathe experience
• Ability to independently take a part from print/model through programming, setup, machining, and inspection
• Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, feeds, speeds, offsets, cutter compensation, tooling, and workholding
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
• Experience holding tight dimensional and geometric tolerances
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, height gauges, and other precision inspection equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Ability to train and mentor other machinists

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Okuma LB3000 EX II
• Okuma OSP controls
• Live tooling and Y-axis turning
• Advanced Mastercam milling and turning
• 4-axis or 5-axis machining
• Aerospace or defense machining
• AS9100 manufacturing environment
• AS9102 first article inspection
• Fixture and workholding development
• Machining aluminum, stainless steel, alloy steel, titanium, nickel alloys, and engineering plastics
• Cycle-time reduction and machining process improvement

THIS POSITION IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU:
• Enjoy solving difficult machining and programming problems
• Can take a challenging job and develop a practical manufacturing plan
• Are equally comfortable programming at the computer and working at the machine
• Take pride in producing complex parts correctly the first time
• Like improving processes rather than simply running existing programs
• Enjoy teaching less-experienced machinists
• Want to have a meaningful influence on how a growing CNC department operates

BENEFITS
• 401(k) with company match up to 6%
• Paid Time Off (PTO)
• Full-time position
• Opportunity to work on aerospace and defense programs
• Modern CNC machining and programming environment
• Hands-on technical leadership role with influence over tooling, programming, processes, and future machining capabilities

QUALITY & COMPLIANCE
Integrity Industries operates in a precision aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. This position requires attention to quality, documentation, traceability, configuration control, inspection, and established manufacturing processes.

U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to contractual requirements associated with certain customer programs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work around CNC equipment for extended periods and safely handle tooling, fixtures, materials, and components consistent with normal machine-shop operations.

If you're an experienced CNC programmer/machinist who can program in Mastercam, set up and troubleshoot CNC equipment, solve difficult machining problems, and help develop other machinists, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today to join Integrity Industries in Clearwater, Florida.
