Design Engineer

Summary: Designs harsh-environment connectors, cable assemblies, and hull penetrators for subsea applications, taking products from concept through production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design complex products for harsh subsea environments.
• Develop concepts, prototypes, drawings, and production documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• Support initial product builds, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain product drawings and assembly instructions using engineering and MRP software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of design engineering experience preferred.
• Strong SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD, 2D drafting, and mechanical design skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer collaboration skills.
• Ability to occasionally travel.
